Dr. Lisa Hunter is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Childrenâ€s Auditory Research Lab (CARLab). Since 2009, CARLab has been part of the Communication Sciences Research Center (CSRC), the leading research hub in Ohio for pediatric hearing, reading, speech and language research. This position will focus on auditory studies in prematurity and ototoxicity, including physiological and behavioral assessment of young children. We are united by a desire to understand the mechanisms of human communication at both a basic science and applied, clinical levels. Research in the CARLab is directed toward understanding hearing development and disorders in newborns, children, and adolescents. Our studies are funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
