Position Overview



  • Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.

  • Flexibility to work from both an in office setting and remotely from home in a secure location required.

  • Must have own high speed internet at home.

  • Typing speed: 60 wpm

  • Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.

  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.

  • Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).

  • Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred.

  • Coding/billing experience preferred but not required.
