JOB DESCRIPTION

The Auto Body Refinisher’s primary responsibility is refinishing to ensure a quality repair of each customer’s vehicle. The Auto Body Refinisher mixes paint, colour matches and refinishes each vehicle. The Auto Body Refinisher works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review damage reports of the repairs to be completed
• Inspect body and prep repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the refinish process; advise production supervisor as required
• Prep surface for paint using hand and power tools
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• Mix and apply refinish products to repaired or replaced body panels
