POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing technician-level engineering activities in support of the development of new automated systems to support MSD’s consumables manufacturing production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair precision electronic and electro-mechanical devices independently or in high-level consultation with engineersBuild and wire complex control panels and systems based on drawings, instructions and guidelinesDesign, fabricate, and assemble test fixtures and prototype systemsSource electronic and mechanical components based on required performance specificationsLead and/or substantially contribute to the development of product assembly, test, calibration, and repair proceduresMaintain tool and equipment inventories for R&D workMaintain component inventory for prototype systems
