Responsibilities


+ Assist with the efficient operation of manufacturing facilities by procuring and maintaining automation equipment.

+ Design, oversee installation, and complete qualification of new automation systems.

+ Manage automation costs and present savings opportunities to management regularly.

+ Maintain and improve existing automation machines within the division.

+ Coordinate with outside suppliers for automation projects.

+ Create and approve specifications and designs for new automation machines.

+ Manage construction schedules to meet production needs for automation projects.

+ Procure purchase orders for automation at suppliers.
