Role Description

As an Automation Engineer you will deliver high‑quality automation installations for project testing, from requirement capture and design, through installation, commissioning, test programme delivery, to ongoing service support.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements and perform detailed design of the automation system, ensuring it is maintainable, extensible, reliable, and efficient.
• Integrate software and hardware components into a unified application.
• Verify and validate the system, including hardware components and the power system under test.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to facilitate design, produce technical documentation, and support requirements development.
• Provide maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, repair, upgrades, and development as required.
• Perform factory acceptance testing and commissioning in accordance with the company’s quality procedures.
