Lead automation efforts at Hartmann Canada, Brantford, Ontario as an Automation Specialist. Troubleshoot, commission, and upgrade plant equipment on a full-time basis working the night shift.
As a key member of the maintenance team, you will enhance plant efficiency by developing PLC-based control systems using Allen-Bradley RSLogix. Your expertise will support various automation projects and emergency situations, fostering continuous improvements throughout operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
• Assist with programming ABB robotic systems
• Update SCADA and HMI applications for control changes
• Read equipment manuals to improve functionality
• Maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Automation or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in automation environments
• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms
• Familiarity with industrial safety fundamentals
