Summary The Equipment Specialist - Automotive (Mechanic) is responsible for different phases of vehicle maintenance, from initial inspection and diagnosis, to coordinating and administering different types of repairs. An associate or bachelor's degree can be used for this position; however, candidates must have experience in the automotive repair/maintenance field or nationally recognized certification in diagnostic scan tool familiarization.
