Automotive Program Buyer

Location: Barcelona.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering, Science or Business School with purchasing specialty (or similar).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of project management in the automotive sector.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and AI tools.
• Availability to travel.
• Technical skills: purchasing knowledge, technical negotiations, project management, customer orientation, rigor and result orientation.

Responsibilities

• Selecting suppliers for RFQ.
• Managing the RFQ process.
• Negotiating part prices, tool costs, and managing ECR.
• Coordinating other purchasing functions on the program level (quality, tooling, commodity).
• Consolidated reporting and milestone reviews.
• Continuous improvement initiatives.
