Summary This position is located at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi. Responsibilities The primary duties involve the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment used in the operation of a national cemetery. Equipment maintained incudes pickup trucks, dump trucks, back hoes, tractors, riding and push mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, and similar equipment. Position also includes Cemetery Caretaker duties as assigned. These duties include interment and grounds maintenance operations. Incumbent may also apply a working knowledge of a variety of trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and masonry. Operates, uses test equipment and tools such as wrenches, sockets, brake tools, pliers, screwdrivers, etc. Performs maintenance repair work on automotive type vehicles and a wide variety of engineering and grounds equipment.
