**Job Description**
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced AV-8B Mechanic III/Maintenance Controller to support the AV-8B Fleet Support Team (FST) at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

The Aircraft Mechanic III (Maintenance Control) is required to Release Aircraft Safe for Flight, monitor maintenance SCIR documentation via the NALCOMIS /OOMA systems, review Aircraft Weight and Balance forms for accuracy, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions to meet operational tasking identified by the government/flight schedule, brief aircrew prior to Functional Check Flights (FCF), review aircrew documentation of aircraft FCF performance, authorize cannibalization, coordinate Depot Level Inspection/Repair actions, assign workload priorities, manage awaiting maintenance and material status, manage T/M/S Aircraft configuration, screen, maintain and sign Aeronautical Equipment Service Records, Aircraft Logbooks, liaison with Quality Assurance, liaison with Projects Coordinator, understand Nav...
