Selected applicants will undergo a 7‑month classroom and practical training programme with on‑the‑job training to be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Sheetmetal Technician. Upon successful completion of training, you will be appointed as a Sheetmetal Technician.
Training - Classroom training on specified sheetmetal related topics.
- On‑the‑job (practical) training at the Base Maintenance Division.
- Job Scope (Upon completion of traineeship).
- Perform aircraft sheetmetal layout and templates.
- Manufacture and repair of structural parts.
- Perform metal forming operation.
- Interpret basic drawings and blueprints.
- Fabricate related sheet metal and assemblies.
