Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Barber Shop at the Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does include benefits . Responsibilities In accordance with accepted techniques of the trade, as modified by local policy, cuts customer's hair to each individual's satisfaction. Services all types of hair to include ethnic styles and fades (skin-tight razor fades on all ethnic hair types), flat tops, high and tights; and product usage and hair/scalp care. Exercises tact and courtesy and works according to time schedules. In performance of the work, uses all instruments of the Barber trade. Ensures that equipment is used in accordance with established procedures. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. Removes hair clippings, cleans chair, vanity and mirror.
