Overview

Make your mark as a Base GIS/CAD Technician at Horizon Geosciences! The Base GIS/CAD Technician must ensure that all survey GIS/charting assigned work performed by the Company is accurate, correct and meets the quality expectations of the Company and the Clients. The Base GIS/CAD Technician is responsible for conducting GIS/charting activities required by different projects in accordance with the company standards, instructions and priorities provided by the reporting functional heads.

Your responsibilities as a Base GIS/CAD Technician

• Conduct GIS updates/charting and simple processing activities as directed by the GIS Coordinator or Chief Data Processor.
• Maintain survey information filing system and database.
• QC of project charts upon return from the field (when required).
• Maintain and develop company GIS/CAD standards.
