**Job Summary and Qualifications**

Psychiatric Assessment and Referral Services (PARS) clinicians are responsible for all aspects of both telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention/psychiatric triage. They conduct psychiatric assessments which include: history of present illness, safety and risk assessment, family, development, social and medical history, mental status exam; and psychiatric diagnosis. In consult with the covering psychiatrist, the initial treatment plan, including level of care, is determined.
