Position: Behavioral Health Unit Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Alfond Center for Health, Augusta
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Shift: Nights (7p-7a)
What You'll Do:
Assists in ensuring patient safety while helping to meet their emotional, physical, recreational, and mental health needs.Assists in maintaining a safe, clean, orderly, and appropriately stocked therapeutic environment.Communicates therapeutically, uses de-escalation techniques, and reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.Performs basic patient care activities, as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.Your Qualifications:
