A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated support to a Key Stage 2 pupil who requires additional assistance with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and pastoral team to help the pupil achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, or within a similar support role
Have experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional, or additional learning needs in a primary school setting
Be confident implementing positive behaviour management strategies
Be patient, calm, resilient, and able to build trusting relationships with pupils
