About the Position:

The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire a Benefits Analyst in our Human Resources (HR) Division in Salem, Virginia. The job duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Serving as a subject matter expert in employee benefits administration.
• Providing technical guidance, case management, and program coordination for disability programs, workers’ compensation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), health and life insurance, retirement plans, deferred compensation, and other state and Agency benefit programs for all sworn and professional staff.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate processing, and high‑quality service delivery across all assigned benefits functions.
