Job Summary

The BioBank Laboratory Technician supports biomedical research by collecting, processing, and documenting human and animal tissue specimens. This role assists with patient consent, specimen transport, cell culture activities, laboratory animal handling, data management, and other research operations while ensuring compliance with established laboratory protocols and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

+ Collect, label, and record biological specimens from mouse and human tissues.
+ Obtain necessary consent from patients at various clinics in the area.
+ Deliver and collect tissue kits from various hospitals and clinics.
