About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga

As a Biosecurity Auditor you will deliver verification programmes at higher risk, complexity and priority businesses approved under the Biosecurity Act 1993. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing verification programmes that strengthen New Zealand's biosecurity system and reduce the risk of pests and diseases entering the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver verification programmes for high-risk containment and transitional facilities
• Conduct investigations and unannounced verification where required

The role plays a vital role in protecting NZ primary industries and provides assurance for trade which underpins New Zealand's economy and wellbeing.
