Position Overview

            Bachelor?s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or Animal Health Management. 
3?5 years of experience in swine or poultry farm operations, animal health management, or biosecurity programs. 
Knowledge of livestock diseases, biosecurity risk assessment, SOP development, farm management, data recording/reporting, leadership, staff training, and problem-solving. 
Veterinary license (if applicable), biosecurity or animal health certification, and HACCP or farm quality assurance certification.
