This position is responsible for collection and analysis of arterial blood, performing routine and moderately complex laboratory testing using manual and automated methods (at the benchtop and point-of-care) to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment. The incumbent provides assistance in determining patient's acid base and ventilatory status, various chemistry profiles and performs minor equipment maintenance.
