AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Medical Assistant to take on a Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located in Tehachapi, CA.



Position Details: (Multiple Openings)

40 Hours per week

Location: Tehachapi, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (Orientation 2 weeks)

Rate: $22/hr ($880/week) 

Duration: 6 months with possible extension



Must have a license by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California to practice as a Medical Assistant within these five organizations:

- AAMA

- AMCA

- AMT

-CCBMA

- MMCI
