Summary You will serve as a BOILER PLANT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE. Responsibilities You will plan both daily and long term, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance and repair functions. You will conduct on the job training to prepare plant operating personnel for changing work conditions, to operate new equipment, and to be aware of Standard Operating Procedures. You will assist the General Foreman in selection of new employees; make recommendations for reassignments, promotions, and demotions; and correct employee grievances when necessary. You will plan and organize work and manage positions to ensure maximum productivity for money spent. You will promote special programs such as elimination of waste, fraud and abuse.
