Description
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for an organization in Bakersfield, California. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing core financial activities with accuracy. The role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Excel, along with the ability to contribute during busy reporting periods and assist with year-end accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
β’ Manage daily bookkeeping activities by accurately recording financial transactions and maintaining up-to-date accounting records.
β’ Process vendor invoices and payments while ensuring accounts payable entries are complete, timely, and properly documented.
β’ Monitor incoming payments, prepare customer invoices, and keep accounts receivable balances current through consistent follow-up.
