Position Overview
Description We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract basis. This position will support payroll, accounting, and administrative operations by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and contributing to month-end and year-end activities. The ideal candidate brings strong bookkeeping experience, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized environment.
Responsibilities:
β’ Administer semi-monthly payroll processing and keep payroll files complete, current, and accurate.
β’ Update payroll records to reflect employee onboarding, separations, benefit changes, withholdings, and tax-related adjustments.
β’ Monitor payroll practices for compliance with applicable regulations and complete required reporting in a timely manner.
β’ Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations for payroll, benefits, and general ledger accounts.
