We are a growing construction company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare payroll and manage employee records.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines (ETD, T4’s, HST, WSIB, EHT).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper (construction industry experience an asset).
- Proficiency in accounting Sage 50 software.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
