About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Bookkeeper to join Engine Capital and manage day-to-day finance and bookkeeping operations.

In this role, you will ensure accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and smooth finance processes, directly supporting the company’s goal of originating $80M in CY26.

You will take ownership of execution quality, operate with discipline, and proactively escalation issues—consistently performing at an A-Player level in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Transaction Processing

• Process all daily financial transactions, including receipts and payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cashbooks and loan statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable in line with agreed schedules
• Ensure all supporting documentation is complete and properly filed
