Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bookkeeper & Payroll Associate with experience in full set of books and union payroll processing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and cost records, and ensuring the financial integrity of accounting and costing records. This role is essential in supporting the owner with timely and accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands on full set of Accounts Payable processing including coding GL account, process payments, resolve purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Process Payroll in QuickBooks and Telpay weekly.
• Prepare Union Remittance Report and make payment via online banking monthly.
• Prepare and file government remittances (Payroll Liabilities, GST/HST Return and EHT).
