Duties Description The Broker Relations Representative supports our mission by managing a segment of our independent agencies, brokerages, and aggregators. The primary mission is to build deep broker relationships, educate the market on NYSIF’s underwriting appetite, and secure a high volume of profitable workers' compensation and disability submissions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Portfolio Management: Make outbound calls and/or meetings with independent insurance brokers within the assigned portfolio.
• Relationship Building: Serve as the main point of contact for brokers to resolve issues and elevate NYSIF's brand.
• Pipeline Development: Identify and source new business opportunities by aligning NYSIF's underwriting appetite with broker pipelines.
• Product Education: Train brokers on NYSIF systems, workers' compensation products, and Disability/Paid Family Leave benefits.
