Due to increased demand, we are recruiting dedicated BSL Specialist Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support for deaf and hearing-impaired students.

Your new role

As a BSL Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring students with hearing impairments can fully access the curriculum and participate in school life.You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and specialist services to provide both academic andmunication support, often on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.

Providing British Sign Language (BSL) support for students in mainstream lessons

Interpreting spoken content into BSL to support understanding and engagement
