The C&D team sits within the larger Zero Waste team at the SF Environment. The Zero Waste program aims to reduce the generation and the disposal of materials with an emphasis on the Zero Waste hierarchy of redesign, reduction, reuse, repair, recycle/compost, beneficial reuse, and then disposal.
