Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority in London who is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a fast-paced Legal and Surveying function. The role focuses on resident-facing inspections, defect diagnosis, and instructing remedial works across a varied housing stock.

You will take ownership of inspections and reporting, with a strong focus on damp, mould and condensation cases, alongside wider building defect and insurance-related surveys.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting occupied homes, diagnosing defects and identifying root causes
