Become a vital part of our Geriatric Mental Health Program in Burnaby as a part-time Clinician. Your role will encompass essential assessment and treatment services for elderly clients.
You'll work within a multidisciplinary team to address complex mental health needs among elderly clients and their caregivers. This position focuses on providing clinical services, community education, and advocacy while coordinating care with relevant agencies. Your contributions will support program development and enhance mental health resources for older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer assessment and treatment for mentally ill elderly clients
• Perform outreach and home visits for individual care
• Liaise with community agencies for service planning
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation for service delivery
• Advocate for client needs within the community
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
