The Role

The Business Analyst provides functional and non-functional requirements to the development teams, explains the system behavior to various stakeholders, and supports the sales process with in-depth product knowledge.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Translating the prioritised problems into business requirements (user stories, use cases, visual modelling, diagramming, dataflows, etc).
• Engaging with clients in order to gather, analyse and refine requirements for new feature requests.
• Work with the solution definition team to create and communicate a technical solution for a given problem, including:
  • Writing acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Translating business and user requirements into functional and non-functional requirements, specified to an appropriate level of detail that can be used for development.
  • Reviewing completed work from development and updating the documentation accordingly.
