Role Overview

GDS Consulting is a Johannesburg-based IT consulting firm that specializes in geoscientific data management and Managed IT services including Server Management, Network Design & Support, Backup and Recovery, security solutions, website design, and web hosting.

This role, reporting to the Directors, will be accountable for the total sales and growth of the company’s products and services and driving the development of new opportunities in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Build up a portfolio of new customers using cold calling and prospecting.
2. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
3. Identify new business opportunities.
4. Close sales and direct clients through the sign-up and implementation steps.
5. Assist in roadmap planning, staff training, and development.
