The Data & Analytics (D&A) team is at the heart of VisitBritain/VisitEngland’s ambition to be a data-led organisation. This BI Lead role provides maternity cover for a critical position within the team, responsible for delivering the business intelligence and reporting capability that supports evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

The role delivers dashboard and self-service reporting capability using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, working within the D&A team’s established delivery standards and sprint-based working practices. The team is actively exploring how AI-assisted analytics can be embedded into day-to-day workflows.

The postholder is the sole BI resource in the team and plays a central role in maintaining reporting continuity during a significant period of organisational change, including the transition away from the external data transformation partner.
