Overview
Aston Carter is seeking a Buyer Administrator to provide temporary, on-site support to our client’s Supply Chain team while a full-time employee is on leave. This role focuses on administrative purchasing tasks, vendor communication, and maintaining accurate data within Oracle ERP. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, vendor-facing experience, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

+ Purchasing Support — Assist Buyers and Sourcing Specialists with daily purchasing and administrative tasks.

+ Vendor Communication — Contact vendors for shipment updates, backorder details, and PO status.

+ Order Tracking — Monitor open purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.

+ ERP Data Entry — Maintain accurate purchasing records within Oracle and other internal systems.
