Position Goal

This position is responsible for developing and executing buying strategies to reduce costs, reduce lead times, improve supplier service and assure an effective Source to Pay process. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring the best total cost is achieved, along with the best possible lead times and overall quality to achieve our customer service goals.

What You Will Do

• Execute the full PO lifecycle including creation, confirmation, tracking, and closure, ensuring alignment with demand and delivery requirements
• Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems, including timely updates to PO notes, dates, and supplier commitments
• Respond to internal customer inquiries and pricing requests in a timely and professional manner
• Identify and resolve supplier delivery issues and obsolescence risks, validating supplier commitments and obligations prior to escalation
