Overview
The purpose of the Buyers Assistant role is to support delivery of the Buying strategic and commercial objectives through the efficient and effective execution of all operational and administrative functions related to the buying process.
Responsibilities
- Capture buying related data in the system
- Place orders and process purchase orders and invoices
- Handle administrative and data queries from vendors, suppliers, distribution centers (DCs) and stores
- Quality check all information inputted and captured
- Collaborate with the Buyer and Buying team to ensure commercial targets are met
- Maintain a highly organized and detail-oriented approach with energy and drive to deliver on expectations
