What You Will Work On
β’ Implement mobile-to-vehicle communication features β including OTA software updates, key fob management, and diagnostics β across iOS and Android, working within architecture and patterns defined by the feature owners.
β’ Write and review code that interfaces with ECUs and parses DID/DTC data via CAN bus protocols.
β’ Apply C++ knowledge to bridge ECU diagnostic specs and firmware interfaces into the mobile layer β reading specs, reasoning about low-level behavior, and flagging integration risks early.
β’ Contribute to end-to-end quality: unit tests, integration tests, and vehicle-in-the-loop tests on the software buck.
β’ Participate in code reviews with a high bar, flagging complexity and correctness issues within your areas of contribution.
