The REGISTERED LONG-TERM CARE NURSING ASSISTANT (RLTCNA) is a member of the Nursing Department and health care team and is responsible for the direct provision of care and services to the residents in a manner that is consistent with the facility mission and principles that assures the highest practical level of quality care and services to our residents and other customers.
Essential Job Duties: The Registered Long Term Care Nursing Assistant: Performs assignments for resident care and other related duties as received from the licensed nurse on the unit to which assigned.
Provides direct personal care services to each assigned resident including but not limited to: Assisting each resident in performance of activities of daily living: grooming, bathing, mobility, eating and toileting.
Makes occupied and unoccupied beds.
Assures that each resident has bathing and grooming supplies as needed.
