Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cabling Engineer to install, terminate, test, and maintain structured cabling systems for IT and network infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and route structured cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
Perform cable laying in offices, data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings.
Terminate copper and fiber optic cables using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Conduct cable testing and certification using appropriate test equipment (e.g., Fluke testers, OTDR for fiber).
Label, organize, and document all installed cables according to project standards.
Install cable trays, conduits, trunking, patch panels, racks, and cabinets.
