**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will learn and develop the necessary skills to become an effective member of a technical team. With typically one year of experience in the structured cabling industry, you will be responsible for various installation tasks including work area outlets and cable routing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install work area outlets for floor, modular furniture, and wall using appropriate methods.
+ Drop cable down walls using fish tape or other methods and route cable through modular furniture.
+ Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables, and determine length, slack, and label cables.
+ Suspend and support cables correctly using cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze.
+ Build closets, mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware.
