TEKsystems is seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support structured cabling and low-voltage projects throughout the Hartford, CT area. This position is ideal for technicians with experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic cabling in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

+ Pull, route, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling

+ Terminate copper and fiber cables following industry standards

+ Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable trays, conduit, and sleeves

+ Perform labeling, documentation, and cable management

+ Test and troubleshoot network cabling systems

+ Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
