Overview The Calculation Engine Developer will develop, coordinate and conduct complex tests and debug control and diagnostic systems, make recommendations on changes in the selection and application of software production components to management, implement major components, present designs review, and coordinate with other organizations.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain state‐of‐the‐art calculation engines that support Carrier's commercial HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
Apply expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to develop accurate and reliable engineering algorithms.
Collaborate with optimization engineers to develop advanced algorithms that enable optimal system selection and performance predictions.
Work cross‐functionally with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
