POSITION SUMMARY:
The Calibration Supervisor is responsible for managing the MSD Calibration and Preventative Maintenance Program. This position will directly supervise calibration technicians and ensure employee proficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and participate in calibration and calibration coordination activities. Coordinate with validation and metrology contractors to schedule recurrent calibration activities and certifications as a Quality representative. Schedule and coordinate internal equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance (PM) with directly responsible individuals (DRIs).
Track off-site equipment status and equipment repairs. Supervise calibration technicians responsible for performing equipment calibration, PM activities, and pipette calibration.Maintain the calibration database and records of PM, certification, and calibration activities following good documentation practices (G...
