Overview
We invite applications for a Canada Research Chair Tier 1 in Neuromorphic Systems at the Associate Professor with Tenure – or Professor with Tenure – level. This position guarantees 75% protected time for research and the successful candidate will be nominated for a seven‑year, renewable once, Tier I Canada Research Chair.
Responsibilities
- Lead and advance a research program in neuromorphic systems, which may include chip and device design, algorithms and sensors.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Department’s strengths in computational neuroscience, neuromorphic computing, experimental neuroscience, physics, biomedical and electrical engineering.
- Support and participate in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy and the Hotchkiss Brain Institute’s interdisciplinary initiatives.
