Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Health (CRCIH) at the rank of assistant or associate professor. This tenure‑track position offers a unique opportunity for an emerging health scholar with an active and impactful research program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co‑develop research and scholarship focused on improving health outcomes for Indigenous Peoples, including the Secwpemc Nation, addressing social, economic, and cultural determinants of health and integrating Indigenous holistic practices.
• Build evidence to support decolonization of health systems and deepen understanding of Indigenous Peoples’ experiences in healthcare.
• Foster trust‑based, collaborative relationships with local First Nation and other Indigenous communities, ensuring research reflects community needs and perspectives.
