Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Faithful Interpretation: Facilitate accurate communication by faithfully interpreting into the target language everything being said without adding, omitting, or changing anything. Impartiality: Maintain absolute impartiality and show no bias or preference toward either party while interpreting. First-Person Delivery & Ethics: Interpret in the first person at all times. Clarify meaning when necessary (while informing both parties), maintain the highest level of confidentiality, and strictly abide by the interpreter's code of ethics.
